2023-2024 KINDERGARTEN AND 7TH GRADE OPEN ENROLLMENT

School OPEN Tuesday 1/10

Post

Dear Didion Families,

This is Principal Eder calling with an urgent message regarding the reopening of our campus tomorrow. School will be in session Tuesday, January 10, 2023 at the regularly scheduled time.

You should be aware that the storm has impacted the school district’s telephone system and limited our landline service. All campuses have district issued cell phones that can be used in a situation such as this.

If you need to report an absence or other non-emergency message, please email us at: didionoffice@scusd.edu.

School Closure information
1/9/22

Post

Good morning, Didion families,

I hope you all are safe and well. Also, hopefully you received the messaging from the district last night announcing that all Sac City schools are closed today because of the impact of the weather. At this time, I do not have any updates regarding tomorrow. I expect further communication and information to be sent out later today directly from the district. I will do my best to re-broadcast and share out anything that I learn with you all as well.

Thank you and stay safe.

Mr. Eder

Just a few quick reminders:

Our return to school from Winter Break is tomorrow, Monday, January 9th. Please take note of the District’s message about the possible impact of the weather and power outages on our schools in this message: https://www.scusd.edu/e-connections-post/weather-impact. If there are more updates about how the weather may impact school schedules, you can expect direct communication from the district later this evening.

WINTER PROGRAM

Olivia’s Buddy Bench

Post

Dear Didion families,

As many of you know, last year we suffered a tremendous loss as a school family with the tragic passing of one of our third graders, Olivia Chan. Olivia was an amazing little girl and a sweet and kind friend to so many students.

Dragon Dash and Safe Drop-Off

Post

Great job community! We have hit our next fundraising benchmark of $40,000 raised! This means that our students will get an extra 10 minutes of lunch tomorrow! We are down to just one more day until our Dragon Dash on Thursday, 11/10. See my email from yesterday for the race schedule if you’d like to come onto campus to cheer on your Dragon. Please consider registering your child at mybooster.com if you haven’t already. And I promise, this is one of the last times you’ll hear from me about the Dragon Dash… but we’re inching closer towards our goal.
