Good Evening, Didion Families,

There are only  two days left to reach our Dragon Dash goal of $65,000! The deadline for collecting pledges, and our Dragon Dash race, is this Wednesday, November 8th.  We still have a ways to go to get to our goal, but I know that we’ve got this! Remember, the money raised from the Dragon Dash directly impacts students through the PTA’s support of field trips, our daily reading intervention program with Mrs. Rechs, 8th grade promotion, direct classroom support, art classes with Ms. Ellen, music with Mrs. Chambers, and MORE!There is still time to register your student and earn pledges at http://tinyurl.com/dragondash2023. Please visit this link for more information about the Dragon Dash, including the race day schedule. Parents and family members are welcome to attend and cheer on their kids on Wednesday!

Also, a friendly reminder that next week, November 13th – 17th and November 27th, will be minimum days for grades 1-6 due to parent-teacher conferences. Please check the bell schedule for detailed dismissal times. Don’t forget that this Friday, November 10th, we will have no school in honor of Veterans Day. Additionally, Thanksgiving Break begins on November 20th and runs through November 24th.

4th – 6th grade families should have received a separate email today regarding our Thanksgiving Concert on Friday, November 17th. The concert begins at 9am with doors opening at 8:45. Parents and families are welcome to attend! Please reach out to your teachers if you have any questions about the concert.

The Scholastic Book Fair is almost here! Here are the dates and times that you and your child may check it out:
