We had an amazing day today! The Dragon Dash was so much fun and a huge success! I am so excited to share that we reached our Dragon Dash goal!!! Through pledges, our sponsors, and corporate matches, we have raised $65,000! The mybooster.com platform will be open through Sunday so you can keep fundraising to earn more prizes!

The PTA will enter the students’ laps and record all of your donations over the next week. Student prizes will go out in December, prior to winter break. 

This all means, of course, that I’m going to get dunk tanked! The plan right now, weather permitting, is for me to get dunked at morning announcements on Monday, November 28th. Students also earned a No Homework Day and an extra recess. Teachers will notify their students which day will be good for the No Homework Day, and all students will have an extra recess on Monday. 

I want to express my sincere gratitude to our entire community for your generosity and loving support of our amazing school. I also want to thank the PTA and all of the volunteers for making this event such a success. We are all so fortunate to be a part of this wonderful Didion family.

Lastly, a reminder that there is no school tomorrow in observance of Veterans Day. Additionally, there are minimum days all of next week for grades 1-6 for parent-teacher conferences, and there will be no school the week of November 21st for Thanksgiving break.
