It’s almost here!
First Day Reminders

We hope you are as excited as we are about the first day of school tomorrow, September 2nd! We’ll be rolling out the red carpet for our students at the main entrance tomorrow to celebrate all of our students. Blacktop supervision begins at 7:40, and I ask for your help in quickly and safely dropping off your students so that they may enter campus and we can keep everyone distanced and flowing.

Just a reminder that tomorrow and every Thursday is an early release day: grades 1-3 dismiss at 12:52, grades 4-6 dismiss at 1:12, and grades 7-8 dismiss at 1:29. Kinder dismisses every day at 11:45. Click  HERE for the daily bell schedule.

Please don’t forget, that in accordance with the health and safety guidelines, everyone on campus must be wearing a mask. Also, as explained in the Welcome Back Orientation, only students will be permitted on campus with a few exceptions. For a reminder regarding arrival and dismissal procedures, please follow this link.

Parents, please don’t forget to check your child for any symptoms of illness each and every day. I ask that you please understand that even when slight symptoms are present, it is always best to keep students home until COVID can be ruled out. Call the front office to be connected to our health aides who can guide you through the process. I fully understand the burden of having to keep students home and not being able to go to work, but we all share the responsibility in keeping our community safe. I THANK YOU for your cooperation and support of one another.

Lastly, just a friendly reminder that Friday, September 3rd is a Didion spirit day. We encourage students to come to school on Friday wearing Didion gear, or the colors red and blue to show their spirit. Also, Monday, September 6th is Labor Day and there will be no school.

Have a great night! We can’t wait to see the students tomorrow!
