For 4th-8th grades, kids prepare and taste various foods, while exploring some cooking fundamentals ranging from proper hygiene, knife skills, importance of measuring ingredients accurately, etc. Classes are held at Didion’s Staff Lounge. In AY 2019-2020, the Food Explorers’ cooking club will be facilitated by parent volunteer Claudia Tavera. Got questions? Contact Claudia at firstname.lastname@example.org. This is a free, parent volunteer-based program, but a $20 supply fee per session (4 classes) is requested to cover cost of supplies used in each class.
