Food Explorers Club
Spring 2019 only. 4th-8th grades in the Staff Lounge, 2:30-3:30pm. Registration will open in December 2018. Stay tuned!
Kids prepare and taste various foods from around the world, while exploring some basics of cooking ranging from proper hygiene, knife skills, importance of measuring ingredients accurately, learning how to use kitchen gadgets such as food processor and blender for chopping, shredding, slicing, and mixing ingredients. $20 supply fee per session (4 classes). This cooking club is facilitated by PTA volunteer Andrea Pantoja Garvey and Pocket resident & community volunteer Chris Pearson. Want to see what Didion’s Food Explorers have cooked so far?
